Tänane sissekanne on muusikast ehk siis kas ja mida kuulata pokkerimängu ajal. Siinkohal ootan aktiivset tagasisidet, et kas ja miks ja mida teie üldse kuulate kui lauas istute?! Keegi küsis, et kuidas ma keskenduda suudan kui klapid peas ja ma hakkasin mõtlema, et olenevalt situatsioonist on keskendumine võimalik nii klappidega kui klappideta... st. et mingil hetkel muusika häirib ja üleüldine lauda ümbritsev melu ei häirigi ja mingil hetkel viskab see chippide klõbin ja mõne tüübi möla lihtsalt üle ja muusika mõjub siis kui rahustav palsamJ
Mida mina siis kuulan... kõike ... kusjuures ühe Unibet Openi ajal avastasin, et ma võidan alati siis kui iPhone’i suffle on valinud järjekordse Michael Jacksoni loo, kokkusattumus vms aga tore avastus oli. Kuna muusikal on olnud suur osa minu elus juba väiksest peale - isa kassetid kuulasin läbi juba 4-5 aastasena, laulusõnad jäävad mulle pähe maagilise kergusega (kahju, et koolis ajalooga sama lugu polnud), igasugused lastekoorid, tütarlastekoolid, muusikakoolid, klaveritunnid jms pole mulle ka võõrad. Muusika on minu jaoks VÄGA tähtis ja see on ka üks teema, mille kohta võin julgelt öelda, et tean rohkem kui väga paljud teised ja neid kes teavad veel veel veel rohkem respectin sajaga. Tänu sellele on minu iTunes täis tohutult erinevaid stiile – artiste siit ja sealt, uusi hitte ja vanu klassikuid. Ja pokkerimängu ajal on muusikal ka väga oluline roll – see aitab mul ennast välja lülitada, oma maailma ja nii suudan ma mängule paremini keskenduda. Mulle ei meeldi väga lauas lobiseda, pole mina... ja nii ma istungi oma muusikamulli sees. Nimekiri oleks pikk niiet ma siis võtsin väljavõttega 20 viimasel ajal kõige rohkem kuulatud lugu (see nimekiri vaheldub iga paari nädala tagant, sest kõik vana on hea uus ja uusi asju tuleb ikka kuulata) ja siin nad on:

Today’s blog is about music, if and what should and could be listened when playing live-poker. This is a topic where I expect active commenting and feedback on if, what and why you listen when you play?! Someone asked me, how can I concentrate when I listen to music and I started to think that actually it all depends on the situation, sometimes u need the music sometimes it is disturbing. Sometimes the chip noise and some dude talking all the time can piss u off and then music works as calming medicine for your soul.
So what do it listen to? Everything… At one Unibet Open I discovered that I always win when iPhone shuffle had chosen another Michael Jackson song. Coincidence? Who knows, it was just a nice discovery. Since music has been a big part of my life since I was little – I listened my dads cassettes to pieces at the age of 4-5, I can remember the lyrics of random songs extremely easily (too bad it wasn’t the same at the history class), all kinds of choirs, music schools, piano lessons etc are not strangers to me also. Music is VERY VERY important to me and it is probably one thing I know more about than many other people and the people who know even more and more and more I respect with all my heart. Thanks to this fact my iTunes is full of different genres – artist from here and there, new hits and old classics etc. So when playing poker I really need my music – it helps me to concentrate and shut myself out from all the disturbing factors. I am not a chatty type when at the table so I like to sit in my music-bubble. The list of what I listen to would be very long (and my shuffle keeps it interesting) so I looked at my iTunes and got the list of 20 songs which I’ve been recently listening to the most… and here they are:
